Blueberry Limeade
Blueberry Limeade is my new favorite summer drink and is perfect for parties and back yard barbecues!
Speaking of parties…..We are celebrating today!
I think the world of Rachel and am so happy to join in to have a little online celebration in her honor. I tried to think of what I would actually make for Rachel if I were attending her birthday party in real life. I decided on about 12 things. Due to my crazy schedule this week and all plans flying out the window, it came down to this delicious Blueberry Limeade.
I was inspired by Rachel’s amazing Fresh Blueberry Pie. If you haven’t made one yet, I say do it soon, before the fresh in season blueberries disappear!
The lovely part about this Blueberry Limeade is that it comes together in a flash. Perfect for last minute guests, backyard barbecues or BIRTHDAY PARTIES!! I had all of the ingredients hanging out in my refrigerator and pantry. The fresh lime juice and fresh blueberries make this a really refreshing drink that everyone can enjoy.
My parties always have some kind of non-alcoholic punch, usually that’s what you will find me drinking. You could totally add a shot of vodka, rum or even tequila to each glass of Blueberry Limeade and it would a rockin’ cocktail. Now I need to run out and grab some tequila because a Blueberry Margarita must happen and in this case I will have to have one…maybe even two.
So here’s to you Rachel! I hope your birthday is a spectacular, week-long celebration! You are such a caring and giving person and I am so happy to call you my friend!!
