Brisket Nachos
Brisket Nachos are a wonderful, easy appetizer with barbecued smoked brisket, tortilla chips, cheese and coleslaw. The perfect game day food for barbecue lovers!
For a long time I would say that cheesecake was my all-time favorite food. I’m starting to waiver on that proclamation. If there was a slice of cheesecake on one plate and sliced smoked brisket on another, I’m pretty sure I would go for the brisket these days.

Instead of the traditional black-eyed peas and ham hocks for New Year’s dinner, we went with an Easy Smoked Brisket.
It was melt in your mouth fantastic. We don’t have a smoker, so my husband used the charcoal grill and some hickory wood to smoke the brisket for a bit. Then we wrapped it in foil and cooked it slow in the oven for a few hours. It surpassed any smoked brisket that we’ve had from the local bbq joints!
If you love brisket as much as I do, these Brisket Tacos, Brisket Taquitos, Brisket Fried Rice and Jalapeno Poppers with Brisket and Bacon need to be on your must- try list!
I took a bit of the brisket before it all disappeared and made Brisket Nachos. If you haven’t tried this wonderful concoction, you are missing out.
Brisket Nachos are perfect for game day snacks or lazy Sunday afternoons. I actually had this for breakfast, that’s how much I love brisket!
Barbecue brisket and creamy coleslaw are the perfect sandwich combination so I had to try a little cole slaw on the Brisket Nachos and it was fantastic, fabulous, dare I offend by saying best ever? I truly loved it.
I used my favorite little Lodge Cast Iron Servers and popped them in the oven for just a couple of minutes to melt the cheese. You could make a nacho bar and let everyone choose their favorite toppings for a fun dinner or game day snack.

I have a lot of very strong feelings about these nachos. Namely, if they don’t get in my face I’m going to throw myself to the floor and kick and scream.
Thanks Karly! I would gladly share!
I love that you can’t decide between cheesecake and brisket. You’re a girl after my own heart! Love it!
Thanks Liz! Most of the time I would take the brisket and the cheesecake!
I love any kind of nachos! Thankfully, most restaurants have them as appetizers so it never takes me long to decide what I want. And that sweet tea in the background doesn’t look too bad either!
What a gorgeous skillet of nachos! Drooling 🙂
Yum Yum! Combining two of my favorite things: nachos and brisket! It doesn’t get much better than that!

After seeing this brisket you posted, maybe, like you I will also choose this brisket nachos rather than cheesecakes. haha! I must commend you for the photo you posted, it looks delish and I bet this taste good, of course. I also love smoked foods that add to my curiosity on how to prepare this. Smoked beef brisket is however, the most popular of all smoked dishes due to the delicious flavor it gets by smoked cooking. The delicacy holds a yummy taste and many health benefits. That makes me sure of how this recipe taste. =)
