BBQ Burgers
Summertime is here and it’s time to get your grill going! It’s always a great time when you are grilling burgers and hanging out with friends.
Our favorite burgers are slathered in homemade barbecue sauce and today we are topping them with Easy Onion Strings for one of the most scrumptious burgers ever.
How to Make BBQ Burgers:
- Mix ground chuck with spices and seasonings and form into patties. Cover and set aside while you prepare the grill.
- Grill burgers at about 300°- 350° flipping to sear on both sides. Brush both sides with homemade barbecue sauce and continue to cook until burgers reach 155° internal temperature.
- Remove to a serving tray and cover with foil until ready to serve.
- Spread butter over buns and top with shredded cheese. Pop under the broiler or a few minutes or until cheese is melted and buns are lightly toasted.
- Top buns with your favorite toppings, burger sauce, lettuce, bbq burgers, pickled green onions or onion strings.
I like to lightly toast the buns and a sprinkle of shredded Cabot Cheese is the way to go for an extra layer of deliciousness.
What to Serve with Burgers:
Bacon Ranch Potato Salad is a super simple and delicious side or cookouts and picnics.
The Best Macaroni Salad is our favorite for cookouts and holiday dinners.
Grilled Mexican Street Corn is an epic side dish that will steal the show.
Sweet Potato Fries are a healthy dish plus the combo of burgers and fries is impossible to beat.
