- Balsamic Glaze ~ Found in the vinegar isle at any grocery store, homemade works too.
- Kosher Salt & Black Pepper
How to Make Caprese Appetizers:
- Alternate cherry tomatoes with mozzarella pearls and fresh basil leaves onto appetizer picks.
- Rolling each basil leaf is an easy way to fit them onto the skewers.
- Place on a serving platter.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
How to Make Balsamic Vinegar Glaze:
- equal parts balsamic vinegar & brown sugar
Add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar to a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves when mixture begins to bubble cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside until ready to serve.
How to Make Ahead:
- Create the skewers and place in an airtight container up to 4 hours in advance and refrigerate.
- Place on a platter and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, salt and pepper before serving.

- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
