Ingredients for Italian Salad Dressing
- Olive Oil is the base of the dressing.
- Red Wine Vinegar adds a tangy, acidic flavor. White Wine Vinegar works well too if that is what you have on hand.
- Lemon Juice adds freshness and acidity.
- Honey balances out the tartness from the vinegar and lemon juice.
- Dijon Mustard adds flavor and helps bind the dressing so that it doesn’t separate.
- Granulated Garlic, Dried Basil, Dried Oregano and Dried Thyme for that classic Italian flavor.
- Kosher Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper to enhance the flavors.
How to Make Italian Dressing
- Add olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, honey and dijon mustard into a mason jar.
- Next, add garlic, basil, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
- Seal tight with the a lid.
- Shake vigorously until well combined.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 weeks.

- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- fresh lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Instructions
