Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza

Homemade pizza is easier than you might think and it’s a great way to use up bits and pieces from the fridge. I made this pizza with a bit of leftover grilled chicken and it came together in a snap.
Ingredients for Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
- Pizza dough – homemade or store bought
- Lard, Shortening or Avocado Oil
- Ranch Dressing
- Mozzarella Cheese – grated
- Cooked Chicken – I had a bit of leftover Cowboy Butter Chicken in the fridge. Any cooked chicken pieces will work.
- Cooked Bacon
- Jalapenos – fresh or pickled
- Butter
- Minced Garlic
Step-By-Step Directions for Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
- Add 1/2 tablespoon of lard to a rimmed pizza pan and place in a cold oven and preheat oven to 450°.
- Roll the pizza crust out and carefully place onto the hot pizza pan, rolling the sides over to form an edge.
- Bake the crust for 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Spread ranch dressing over the crust and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Top with diced chicken, bacon and jalapeno slices.
- Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
- Melt butter in a small skillet with minced garlic, cooking over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Brush garlic butter around the edge of the crust.
- Slice pizza and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
- Storage: Store leftover pizza in a zip top bag or air tight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- Reheat: Cook pizza in a toaster oven for 5-8 minutes or on the stove top in a dry skillet, covered for 5-8 minutes or until heated through.
