Peach Dumplings
Peach Dumplings are filled with all of the cinnamon goodness of peach cobbler made easily with crescent dough for a delicious dessert that is so easy to make.
Summer peaches make the best peach dessert recipes like peach cobbler, peach crisp and no bake peach cheesecake but my favorite is probably this easy peach dumplings recipe. The flaky crescent rolls wrapped around juicy peaches and the gooey sauce is impossible to resist.
Ingredients Needed for Easy Peach Dumplings
- Salted Butter
- Brown Sugar
- Ground Cinnamon
- Fresh Peaches: Freestone peaches are the easiest to slice, but cling peaches work just as well.
- Pillsbury Crescent Dough
- Sprite, Mountain Dew or any lemon lime soda.
- Sweetened Whipped Cream or Vanilla Ice Cream, optional for serving.
Step By Step Directions for Peach Dumplings Recipe
- Melt butter in a pan with brown sugar and cinnamon over medium-low heat, stirring until brown sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
- Peel and slice each peach into 8 slices.
- Unroll crescent dough, separating into triangles.
- Place one peach slice on each dough triangle and roll up.
- Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking pan, place the peach dumplings in a single layer with a little space in between.
- Spoon brown sugar mixture over the top of each dumpling.
- Pour the can of Sprite around the dumplings.
- Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until dumplings are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and rest about 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm dumplings with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
