Cottage cheese is the hottest thing going these days and I have really have been hesitant to jump on that band wagon. Well it’s time to let that go because there are so many things you can do with cottage cheese and it is delicious!

I am trying to eat a little healthier and having something on hand to grab out of the refrigerator is a huge help for busy days. This whipped cottage cheese dip takes 5 minutes to make and keeps well for days.

Ingredients Needed for Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip Recipe

  • Cottage Cheese – I am using low-fat cottage cheese, full fat cottage cheese will work if that is what you have on hand.
  • Olive Oil – this is optional but it adds extra flavor and creaminess to the dip.
  • Lime Juice – lemon juice also works.
  • Mrs Dash Seasoning – if you don’t have Mrs Dash, any all purpose seasoning will work, I like it because it is flavorful without salt.
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Onion Powder
  • Dried Dill

Step-By-Step Directions for Cottage Cheese Dip

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spoon into a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
