Step-By-Step Directions for Maple Mustard Salmon
- In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, mustard and garlic. Set aside.
- Remove salmon from packaging and pat dry with a paper towel. Place on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Prepare a grill fire to 300°.
- Place salmon, skin side down onto the grill and brush with maple mustard. Close the grill, cooking about 10 minutes.
- Brush salmon with remaining mustard mixture and continue to cook until salmon reaches 145° using a digital meat thermometer. Remove to a serving tray.
- Garnish salmon with toasted sliced almonds and herbs if desired.
- Flake salmon apart with 2 forks to serve in salmon bowls or slice into thirds.
