Ham and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits
Ham and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits is a delicious way to enjoy leftover ham. Chunks of smoky ham and melted cheese inside garlic butter biscuits is sure to be a family favorite.
When it comes to holiday dinners we almost always cook a brown sugar glazed ham. It makes the best leftovers and these Ham and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits are always a hit.
Ingredients Needed For Ham and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits
- Grands Biscuits: Refrigerated biscuit dough makes this recipe so easy. You can also use homemade pizza dough or refrigerated crescent dough if preferred.
- Ham: Ham chunks or slices will both work for the filling.
- Cheese: We are using pepper jack slices, cheddar, smoked gouda or American cheese would work well too.
- Butter: To grease the pan and for the garlic butter topping.
- Garlic: Fresh garlic cloves or granulated garlic can be used to make the garlic butter.
- Fresh Herbs: Chopped cilantro, parsley or thyme adds to the flavor of the buttery biscuits.
How to Make Ham and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits Recipe
- Butter a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Remove biscuits from the can and divide the flaker layers of each biscuit into 2 pieces.
- Add 1/2 slice of cheese, folded into quarters and a chunk of ham to each biscuit half.
- Pinch the biscuit dough together to form a ball.
- Place biscuit balls into the buttered pan, seam side down.
- Bake for 22- 25 minutes until biscuit dough is baked through.
- Make the garlic butter by combining butter and sliced garlic cloves in a small skillet, cook over low heat for 3- 4 minutes.
- Remove biscuit bake from oven and brush with garlic butter and garnish with chopped herbs.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.

Recipe Notes
- Storage: Store leftovers in a ziploc bag or air tight container in the refrigerator 3-4 days.
- Reheat: My kids thought these were great cold, right out of the fridge but I preferred them toasted in the toaster oven for about 6 minutes. You can also place on a baking sheet and cook in a 350° oven for about 10 minutes.
