Air Fryer Maple Donut Holes
Air Fryer Maple Donut Holes are the ultimate breakfast treat! Made in under 15 minutes with canned biscuits and a delicious maple- cinnamon glaze. Just as delicious as the deep fried version without the extra oil!
I grew up on fried biscuit donuts and my kids love them just as much. Making them in the air fryer is even better without the mess of the deep fryer oil. This recipe is super quick and easy enough for any morning of the week. My kids went crazy for these Air Fryer Churro Apple Pie Bombs that are also a quick and easy treat.
Ingredients for Air Fryer Maple Donut Holes:
- Canned Biscuits
- Vegetable Oil
- Powdered Sugar
- Maple Syrup
- Milk
- Cinnamon
How to Make Air Fryer Maple Donut Holes:
- Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 350°.
- Cut biscuits into quarters.
- Use your hands to roll biscuits into balls.
- Brush with olive oil. You can also use an oil sprayer if you have one.
- Make the glaze by adding powdered sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup and powdered sugar to a bowl.
- Whisk until smooth and all combined and set aside.
- Place about half of biscuit dough balls in basket of air fryer, giving them space in between so that they cook evenly and quickly.
- Cook for 3- 5 minutes, air fryer times may vary. I had the best results cooking for 5 minutes.
- Remove donut holes from air fryer to a wire rack and add remaining dough and cook for 3- 5 minutes.
- Dip cooked donut holes into maple glaze, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place on a wire rack that has been placed on a baking sheet.
- Repeat with remaining donut holes.
- Serve immediately.
How to Store:
Store Leftovers covered with plastic wrap at room temperature up to 24 hours. Best if consumed the first day.

Review:
Air fryers are a great addition to any kitchen. They are simple to use and save so much time, easy cleanup and it can make food healthier than traditional deep frying without sacrificing flavor or texture.
The Cosori Air Fryer is simple enough for my teenager to use and the clean up couldn’t be easier (my favorite!).
No leftover odors in the kitchen like you get from deep frying. That is a big plus!
It doesn’t take up too much space on the counter but is light enough to move in and out of the cabinet if you choose to store it.
We use our Air Fryer for making everything from snacks to main dishes. These Air Fryer Sausage Biscuits are great to have on hand and we make Air Fried Roasted Potatoes often and it makes the best homemade fries.
The kids love it for cooking frozen pizza rolls, mozzarella sticks and breaded chicken.
Downsides? I really can’t think of any. This is a great kitchen appliance that is easy to use no matter the skill level.

Air Fryer Maple Donut Holes
Ingredients
- 1 can Grands Biscuits 8 count
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350° for 5 minutes.
- Cut biscuits into quarters and roll into balls.
- Brush or spray with vegetable oil
- Add half of dough to air fryer basket, with space in between.
- Cook for 3- 5 minutes or until well browned and cooked through.
- While cooking donut holes, mix glaze together by combining powdered sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup and milk. Whisk until smooth.
- Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.
- Remove donut holes from air fryer onto wire rack. Add the second batch of dough and cook 3- 5 minutes.
- Dip cooked donut holes into glaze, letting the excess drip into the bowl. Place on wire rack. Repeat with second batch.
