I hadn’t paired watermelon and banana together before, but as it turns out it is a great combination that you might not have thought of either. According to my little guy, he thought it ranked up there with best thing ever!
This is definitely a treat you can feel good about giving your kids. Bananas are packed with Vitamin B6, Manganese, Vitamin C, Potassium, Protein, Magnesium and Folate. While watermelon provides thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, Vitamin B6, folate, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, choline, lycopene, and betaine.
I added a little honey for sweetness and the yogurt provides a great creamy consistency. My kids thought this was every bit as yummy as an ice cream milkshake.
