Wraps are the most favorite lunch around our house and of course we all love BBQ beef! I simply added a little barbecue sauce and some thin sliced roast to a tortilla and made a quick wrap.
Barbecue just isn’t barbecue without coleslaw, so I made a Quick Sweet Pepper Slaw with Marie’s Original Coleslaw Dressing, a package of shredded cabbage and Pero Family Farms Mini Sweet Peppers. It is my new favorite slaw! Slaw is a great way to add in a few extra veggies and it’s one of my family’s favorite side dishes.
For this lunch, I also included green grapes, and Crispy Green Crispy Pineapples. The freeze dried pineapples added the perfect crunch along with the bbq wrap and slaw. I also included a little extra bbq sauce for dipping. It all fits so nicely in this Bentology lunch box!
I have to say all of my guys were wanting to pack this lunch with them to work or school, it’s a good fit for kids and adults alike. I’d like for you to Take The Power Your Lunchbox Pledge now! For each pledge $1 will be donated by the participating partners, including GROW Bananas, to Feeding America® food banks.

I love seeing what other people put in their (or their kids’!) lunchboxes! So much tastiness in here and love that it’s healthy too!
Oh do I have to go back to school to eat this sounds so good. Wish I was Emmit.
how do you get your roast beef sliced like it came from the deli – nice and smooth and doesn’t look like you used a chainsaw to cut it! Is there a special way to cook a beef roast so it comes out smooth looking?
Hi Susan,
The best way is to cook it rare and then chill it before slicing. It also helps if you have a deli slicer but the smooth slices are much easier to achieve with a rare roast. Here’s my favorite roast recipe (use and seasonings that you like) https://www.missinthekitchen.com/rump-roast/
