Blackberry Lemonade Moscato Punch
Blackberry lemonade is one of my favorite refreshing drinks and I thought it would make an excellent party punch for cookouts and get togethers with friends.
Making large batch cocktails before a party can be super easy. That way guests can serve themselves and you are not playing bartender during the entire celebration.
How to Make Blackberry Lemonade Moscato Punch:
- Add fresh or frozen blackberries, water and sugar to a pan and heat to boiling, stirring often.
- Allow mixture to cool.

- Keep chilled until ready to serve.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices, whole blackberries and fresh mint if desired.

How to Make a Wine Slushie
You can freeze this entire mixture to make a wine slushie. Pour into a baking pan or freeze in ice cube trays, or pour into zip top freezer bags. I recommend double bagging if you use the freezer bags, just in case it leaks. Best to freeze over night if you want to serve as a slushie.

Hi! Where did you get those glasses? I love them
Hi Megan,
You can find them on Amazon ~ https://amzn.to/2WHGZF7 – they are my favorite!
~Milisa
Honestly, I just want to know where you got those glasses from! I’m in love.
Do you use pink or white Moscato wine?
Crystal,
Either one will work.
~ Milisa
Do you leave the blackberries in the mixture when it’s cooling?
Hi Ciara,
You can strain them out before or after, either way is fine.
~ Milisa
can i use powder lemonade if i cannot find frozen? if so about how much?
Hi Melissa,
Powdered lemonade will work just fine. I would mix it up with water according to the package directions and add about 12 ounces. I hope you get to try it!
~ Milisa
To make it non alcoholic, do I replace the wine with anything or just leave it out?
I replaced it with a little apple juice, white grape juice would work as well
Great idea!
Is there a way to make this without alcohol? You you replace the wine or just leave it out completely?
Hi Lorri,
You might want to add a bit more Sprite, maybe do a full liter instead of half.
~ Milisa
have you tried with a sweetener other than sugar to lighten up the calories?
Hi Kimber,
I haven’t tried it but it would totally work.
~ Milisa
Would another wine or champagne work?
Hi Jenee,
Yes champangne, rose or any white wine will work.

Hi there! I am planning on making this on Saturday for my son’s grad party. I am wondering, do I make the lemonade according to the instructions on the can or just add the lemonade concentrate? And just 1/2 liter of sprite? or half of a 2 liter? I am just not picturing this making very much. I have a large glass beverage dispenser I am hoping to fill up. I planned on doubling but wondering if I should triple it?
Thanks so much!
Hi Julie,
Don’t dilute the lemonade concentrate and it is 1/2 liter of Sprite. The batch makes about a gallon. I hope that helps.
~ Milisa
Delicious and easy to make
Lovely recipe!! How does the Sprite hold up if the drink is made in advance and left out? Or does it not matter? Just curious in the event I need to sub out the Sprite for something not carbonated.
Hi Tee,
If you want to make it in advance, I would add the Sprite right before serving for the best taste. I hope you enjoy it!

I made this punch for my daughters 21st birthday party and it was very good!! I loved it and I don’t usually like these punch drink recipes. Everyone loved it so much and are saying make sure you make it for the 4th of July!! The only complaint I got was it’s not strong enough!? What can I add to it to make it a bit stronger but not alter the taste?? Thank you for the recipe! It’s a keeper!
Hi Heather,
I’m glad it was a hit! It is light on the alcohol, so you could add about 2 cups of rum or vodka to make it a little stronger.
~ Milisa
Would this be ok if I added vodka?
Hi Ashley,
Of course! Enjoy it.
~ Milisa
Made this for my ladies Bunko group who are always game for a new punch recipe. All that tried it thought it was delish, but we would add some vodka to pack a bigger punch (pun intended!). Thanks for the recipe, it’s a keeper!!
Hi Pam,
I’m so glad y’all enjoyed it. Add vodka is a great idea and we like with rum too. Thanks for stopping by.
~ Milisa
May I use blackberry syrup (used for sno-cones) in place of the blackberries, sugar, and water? If so, how much should I use for a 1 gallon recipe?
Have you ever tried it with replacing the wine with vodka? I’m wanting to make this for a bunch of my friends and we aren’t really wine enjoyers.
Thanks!
Hi Rhiannon,
I don’t see any reason vodka wouldn’t work. I would try about 8 ounces of vodka and adjust to taste. It will make a smaller batch using vodka instead of the wine.
~ Milisa
Blackberries can be (The rest of the sentence is left out). What do we do to the blackberries?
Hi Arci,
You can reserve the blackberries for another use or discard them.
