How to Make a Wine Slushie

You can freeze this entire mixture to make a wine slushie. Pour into a baking pan or freeze in ice cube trays, or pour into zip top freezer bags. I recommend double bagging if you use the freezer bags, just in case it leaks. Best to freeze over night if you want to serve as a slushie.

Aren’t these glasses just the cutest? I found them at walmart ages ago and recently spotted them on Amazon. They are also available with handles. I love serving iced tea and my favorite party cocktails in them!

This Blackberry Lemonade Moscato Punch turns out completely gorgeous. Perfect for a bridal shower, birthday party or even Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day if you celebrate with your besties.

My Favorite Large Batch Cocktails

I love when summer rolls around and the wild blackberries are plentiful. I gather up as many as possible to put in the freezer so I can make blackberry crisp or blackberry syrup for drinks like a Blackberry Mint Julep and blackberry lemonade moscato punch all year long.

    1. Hi Melissa,
Powdered lemonade will work just fine. I would mix it up with water according to the package directions and add about 12 ounces. I hope you get to try it!

  1. Is there a way to make this without alcohol? You you replace the wine or just leave it out completely?

  2. Hi there! I am planning on making this on Saturday for my son’s grad party. I am wondering, do I make the lemonade according to the instructions on the can or just add the lemonade concentrate? And just 1/2 liter of sprite? or half of a 2 liter? I am just not picturing this making very much. I have a large glass beverage dispenser I am hoping to fill up. I planned on doubling but wondering if I should triple it?
    Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Julie,
Don’t dilute the lemonade concentrate and it is 1/2 liter of Sprite. The batch makes about a gallon. I hope that helps.

  3. Lovely recipe!! How does the Sprite hold up if the drink is made in advance and left out? Or does it not matter? Just curious in the event I need to sub out the Sprite for something not carbonated.

    1. Hi Tee,
If you want to make it in advance, I would add the Sprite right before serving for the best taste. I hope you enjoy it!

  4. I made this punch for my daughters 21st birthday party and it was very good!! I loved it and I don’t usually like these punch drink recipes. Everyone loved it so much and are saying make sure you make it for the 4th of July!! The only complaint I got was it’s not strong enough!? What can I add to it to make it a bit stronger but not alter the taste?? Thank you for the recipe! It’s a keeper!

    1. Hi Heather,
I’m glad it was a hit! It is light on the alcohol, so you could add about 2 cups of rum or vodka to make it a little stronger.

  5. Made this for my ladies Bunko group who are always game for a new punch recipe. All that tried it thought it was delish, but we would add some vodka to pack a bigger punch (pun intended!). Thanks for the recipe, it’s a keeper!!

  6. May I use blackberry syrup (used for sno-cones) in place of the blackberries, sugar, and water? If so, how much should I use for a 1 gallon recipe?

  7. 4 stars
Have you ever tried it with replacing the wine with vodka? I’m wanting to make this for a bunch of my friends and we aren’t really wine enjoyers.
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Rhiannon,
I don’t see any reason vodka wouldn’t work. I would try about 8 ounces of vodka and adjust to taste. It will make a smaller batch using vodka instead of the wine.
