 Brownies with Cream Cheese Icing ~ Easy Brownies For Anytime

Easy no-fuss brownies slathered with cream cheese icing and sprinkled with mini chocolate chips. Brownies are so quick and easy and perfect satisfaction for my severe sweet tooth.  Whip some of these up for your next dessert!

Ingredients Needed:

for brownies:

  • butter, softened
  • sugar
  • eggs
  • vanilla
  • all purpose flour
  • cocoa powder
  • baking powder

for icing:

  • cream cheese, softened
  • butter, softened
  • vanilla
  • powdered sugar
  • mini chocolate chips

How To Make:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  

In a large mixing bowl beat butter and eggs, add vanilla and beat until well combined.  

Add flour, cocoa and baking powder, beat until all combined.  

Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking dish.  

Bake 17-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.  

Set aside to cool completely.

While brownies are baking in a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy, add vanilla and gradually beat in powdered sugar until icing is thick and smooth.  

Spread over cooled brownies and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.  

Cut into squares and serve.
