Easy Buffalo Wings
It has been years since I have tried Buffalo wings at a restaurant. I took about two bites and my mouth was on fire. I’m just not into super hot and spicy foods, but I’m always willing to give things another shot.

We were making Red Beer and noticed the recipe for Buffalo Wings on the Louisiana Hot Sauce bottle and thought we would give them a try. I was pretty skeptical. So I started with that and we put our own little spin on it.
I was surprised, these wings were not too hot. They are spicy but really didn’t set me on fire like the ones I tried before. They are crispy and very flavorful.
How to Make Easy Buffalo Wings:

Tips for Deep Frying Chicken Wings:
It is best if you have an outdoor fryer. Frying chicken wings is messy and I love to keep the mess out of the kitchen if possible. We use a propane burner and a Dutch oven for our outdoor kitchen.
If you are frying indoors. You can use a pan with a lid to keep the oil from splashing out or a screen. Use a meat thermometer to tell the internal temperature for doneness. Chicken wings need to be 165° internally to be cooked through.

That is not how to make “Buffalo wings”. Lived there all my life. Deep fried wings, toss in Frank’s red hot and melted butter (more or less depending on desired heat, or none at all) And serve with BLEU CHEESE and celery sticks and/or carrots. Not that hard to get it right, JS.
