How to Make a Mint Julep:
- Prepare simple syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and boiling water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool or refrigerate until cooled.
- Add fresh mint leaves to each glass and muddle slightly. Add crushed ice, Kentucky Bourbon and simple syrup, stir to combine. Garnish with fresh mint.

for simple syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
for Mint Julep
- 4 ounces Bourbon
- 3 ounces simple syrup
- fresh mint leaves
- crushed ice
Instructions
- Prepare simple syrup by mixing sugar and boiling water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool or refrigerate until cooled.
- Add 3 or 4 fresh mint leaves to each glass and muddle slightly.
- Add crushed ice, 2 ounces Kentucky Bourbon and 1/2 ounces simple syrup, to each glass and stir to combine.
- Garnish with fresh mint.
