Hawaiian Pizza Sliders

Hawaiian Pizza Sliders are delicious party-sized sandwiches filled with smoky ham, pineapple and gooey mozzarella cheese on sweet Hawaiian rolls.

Sliders are a great idea for a family favorite dinner and also popular for parties and get togethers. These Hawaiian Pizza Sliders are perfect for leftover holiday ham and they are so easy to make.

  • King’s Hawaiian Rolls
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Smoked Ham
  • Pineapple Rings
  • Butter
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Brown Mustard or Dijon Mustard
  • Dried Onion Flakes
  • Granulated Garlic

How to Make Hawaiian Pizza Sliders

  1. Make the garlic butter by combining melted butter with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, dried onions and garlic. Set aside.

  1. Slice Hawaiian Rolls in half using a large serrated knife.
  2. Place the bottom of the rolls into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  3. Spread 1 cup of pizza sauce over the rolls and top with half of the cheese.
  4. Layer ham and pineapple rings.
  5. Add remaining pizza sauce and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Add the roll tops.
  7. Brush garlic butter over the rolls.

  1. Top with foil and bake for 30 minutes, remove the foil and continue to bake another 5 – 10 minutes until buns are toasted and cheese is melted.
  2. Remove from oven and rest 5 minutes.

Recipe Notes

  • Additions: Roasted red peppers and caramelized onions are great additions. Crispy bacon is another great addition.
  • Variations: Use any melty cheese that you have on hand. If you aren’t a pineapple fan, it is optional.
  • Storage: Store leftover sliders covered in plastic wrap or in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • Reheat: Wrap sliders in aluminum foil and bake at 350° for 10- 15 minutes or until heated through.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard or dijon
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes

  • 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 3/4 pound smoked ham thinly sliced
  • 2 cans pineapple slices drained

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
