- Lil Smokies – mini smoked sausages.
- Pizza Dough – use homemade pizza dough or store bought. Substitute crescent roll dough if you don’t have pizza dough.
- Egg
- Everything Bagel Seasoning: poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried onion flakes, garlic and flake salt.
Step-By-Step Directions for Lil Smokies Pigs in a Blanket
- Remove Lil smokies from the package, draining the liquid. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 1/2-inch wide by 3 – 4 inch long strips using a pizza cutter.
- Wrap a strip of dough around each cocktail wienie.
- Place on a greased or parchment paper lined baking sheet slightly apart. I am using an oven-safe Fiesta Tray.
- In a small bowl beat the egg with a tablespoon of water. Brush egg wash over the dough.
- Sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning if desired.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

- 2 14 ounce packages Lil Smokies Cocktail Sausages
- 2 pizza dough or crescent roll packages
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
