Ingredients Needed
- Lobster Tails
- Olive Oil
- Kosher Salt
- Fresh Ground Pepper
- Butter
- Minced Garlic
- Ground Rosemary
- Dried Thyme
- Smoked Paprika
- Maple Syrup
- Fresh Lemons ~ Zest and juice.
- Parmesan Cheese
- Angel Hair Pasta
- Parsley
Step By Step Directions
STEP 1 Use kitchen shears to cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise. Brush with olive oil and season with kosher salt and pepper.
STEP 2 Prepare a grill fire to 350°.
STEP 3 Grill lobster tails, cut side down for 5 minutes with the grill closed. Turn the lobster tails and continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 145°. Remove from grill. Tent with foil.
STEP 4 Make the garlic butter by melting butter in a small skillet with minced garlic. Cook over low heat until garlic is lightly toasted. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Stir in ground rosemary, dried thyme, smoked paprika, pepper and maple syrup.
STEP 5 Brush garlic butter over lobster tails and keep warm until pasta is ready.
STEP 6 Cook pasta in boiling water.
Make the sauce in a large skillet while the pasta is cooking. Add butter, olive oil and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring often for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice and a scoop of the pasta water.
Whisk in lemon zest, salt and pepper. Cook 2 minutes. Use tongs to remove cooked pasta from the water into the sauce. Add the parmesan cheese and toss until thoroughly combined.
STEP 7 Garnish with parsley.
STEP 8 Top pasta with lobster tails and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
Broil the Lobster: Prepare lobster tails as directed. Place on a rimmed baking sheet. Preheat broiler and cook for 4- 6 minutes until lobster reaches 145°. Brush with garlic butter.
Shrimp: If you don’t have lobster available, jumbo shrimp makes a great substitution.
Storage: Store leftover pasta and lobster in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
Reheat: Remove lobster from shells and cut into bite size pieces. Heat pasta and lobster in a pan with a few tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir often until heated through.

Ingredients
For the Lobster Tails:
- 4 lobster tails
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
For the Garlic Butter
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon ground rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
For the Lemon Pasta:
- 1 pound angel hair pasta
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 -3 lemons zest and 1/2 cup juice
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare a grill fire to 350°.

- Brush the lobster flesh with olive oil and season with kosher salt and pepper.
- Grill lobster tails, flesh side down for 5 minutes with the grill closed. Turn the lobster tails and continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 145°.
- Remove from grill. Tent with foil.
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in a small skillet with 4 cloves minced garlic. Cook over low heat, stirring until garlic is lightly toasted. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Stir in ground rosemary, dried thyme, smoked paprika, pepper and maple syrup.
- Brush garlic butter over lobster tails and keep warm until pasta is ready.
- Cook pasta in boiling water.
- Meanwhile, make the lemon garlic sauce in a large skillet . Add 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup olive oil and 2 minced garlic cloves to the skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring often for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice and a scoop of the pasta water. Whisk in lemon zest, salt and pepper. Cook 2 minutes.
- Use tongs to remove cooked pasta from the water into the sauce. Add the parmesan cheese and toss until thoroughly combined.
- Garnish with parsley and top with garlic butter lobster tails.
