When we moved to Oklahoma a few years ago, we bought a pontoon boat. It has been so much fun. We love to pull it out to the middle of the lake and swim. The kids also love skiing, riding the tube and the knee board.
I always make sure to pack some tasty snacks because nothing makes you hungrier than swimming. Doritos are always a favorite and these Mini Doritos Cheese Balls were a big hit with the whole family.

Since we were headed to the lake I popped the mini cheese balls into a plastic container and into the cooler.
The minute we reach the lake, Emmet is ready to get in the water! It gets pretty stinking hot here in the summer and the lake is always a fun reprieve.
The lake is our probably our favorite destination for off-time during the summer. We will often go during the week when we have the lake to ourselves.
That is one thing about living on a cattle ranch, weekdays and weekends are the same when it comes to work.
After a bit of swimming and skiing it is always snack time. The boys thought these Mini Doritos Cheese Balls were just about the best thing ever. My kids also love this Cheez-It Snack Mix or Cajun Chex Mix to snack on.
Time on the boat is totally relaxing and I enjoy every second of having the whole family there.
Many of our trips to the lake are spur of the moment. These Mini Doritos Cheese Balls are perfect to throw together right before we leave. They are also great for last minute entertaining.
