Peach Dumplings

Peach Dumplings are filled with all of the cinnamon goodness of peach cobbler made easily with crescent dough for a delicious dessert that is so easy to make.

Ingredients Needed for Easy Peach Dumplings

  • Salted Butter
  • Brown Sugar
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Fresh Peaches: Freestone peaches are the easiest to slice, but cling peaches work just as well.
  • Pillsbury Crescent Dough
  • Sprite, Mountain Dew or any lemon lime soda.
  • Sweetened Whipped Cream or Vanilla Ice Cream, optional for serving.

Step By Step Directions for Peach Dumplings Recipe

  1. Melt butter in a pan with brown sugar and cinnamon over medium-low heat, stirring until brown sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  2. Peel and slice each peach into 8 slices.
  3. Unroll crescent dough, separating into triangles.
  4. Place one peach slice on each dough triangle and roll up.

  1. Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking pan, place the peach dumplings in a single layer with a little space in between.
  2. Spoon brown sugar mixture over the top of each dumpling.
  3. Pour the can of Sprite around the dumplings.

  1. Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until dumplings are golden brown.
  2. Remove from oven and rest about 10 minutes before serving.

  1. Serve warm dumplings with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
