- kosher salt
- baking powder
- baking soda
- semi-sweet chocolate chips
Step-By-Step Directions for Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Cookies with Chocolate Chips
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and peanut butter.
- Add in sugars and vanilla, beating with mixer until combined.
- Add flour, oats, Rice Krispies, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Mix until combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well.
- Scoop cookie dough into 1 1/2 inch balls using a cookie scoop or large spoon. Place about 2 inches apart onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Smash the cookies flat with a glass or with your fingers.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from oven, press additional chocolate chips into the tops of the warm cookies if desired.
- Move to a wire rack to cool.

- ½ cup peanut butter crunchy or creamy
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups chocolate chips more for topping the cookies if desired
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375°
- In a large bowl, add butter and peanut butter, beat until creamy.
- Add in sugars, eggs and vanilla, beating with mixer until combined.
- Add flour, oats, Rice Krispies, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat until combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well.
- Use a cookie scoop or form into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on a greased or lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Smash cookie balls slightly and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Top each cookie with a few chocolate chips.
