Vidalia Onion Spread
Vidalia Onion Spread is an amazing topping for sandwiches, burgers, chicken and more. Take your favorite sandwich a notch with this creamy and delicious spread.
Sauces and spreads are like their very own food group at our house. A must for every meal. Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce, and Sriracha Comeback Sauce are a few of our favorites beyond ketchup and Miracle Whip.
Vidalia Onion Spread
It’s an all out crisis if we run out of sauce at our house and heaven forbid the miracle whip jar is empty. I’m a mayo kind of girl but the rest of my clan loves the tangy zip.
I am constantly stirring up some concoction for dipping popcorn chicken or chicken fried steak bites. Sauces are my thing.
Years before my days of blogging, I had a small barbecue sauce business. It was such a fun experience and I think what ultimately led me to food blogging.
Creating new products was definitely my favorite part of the business and I’m so glad that I stumbled into it that creating recipes is now my full- time job.

Since this spring, my husband has been creating grilling recipes to share with y’all. It’s really been fun to work together.
We decided to try a smoked beef roast for sandwiches. We also had some gorgeous Vidalia Onions and knew they were the perfect addition to our roast beef.
Onions are a favorite at our house and you just can’t beat a sweet Vidalia onion. I’ve been grabbing a bag every time I shop.
This Vidalia Onion Spread recipe was definitely a combined effort and the results are out of this world amazing. Seriously the best topping for our Smoked Roast Beef Sandwiches.
Our school year starts back this week and I am in awe that this summer has gone by in a flash. Emmet is starting 8th grade and that kid has grown so much this summer. Seems like yesterday that he was starting kindergarten.
It always takes awhile to get back into the swing of the school schedule but luckily we have a four day school week and I love that.
I have already been making dinner plans that I can have ready the minute Emmet walks through the door because I know he will be starving. Thirteen year olds have a way of packing away the groceries.
We have been grilling enough meat to last for several days on Sundays and that has saved me a ton of time in the kitchen lately.
This Vidalia Onion Spread is the perfect addition to just about anything on the grill. I hope you give it a try.

How long would this viladia onion spread keep in the fridge?
Hi John,
It should keep about 7-10 days.

What could I use in place of malt vinegar?
White wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar would work. I hope you try it, you’ll love it!
